Contexte et atouts du poste

The D&S research team at Inria is seeking a talented research engineer (Post Doc) to contribute to the EICACS2 project.

As a research engineer within EICACS2, you will work as a manager of the research team and not only.

Mission confiée

To address challenges related to digital sovereignty and their further development and measurement in the military domain.

The position target researcher with expertise in all of the following areas:

  • Experience and using  Analysis of AI Technology Sovereignty Landscape Assessment
  • Experience and performing analysis in Information Security Management System
  • Research experience in AI text analysis and reasoning
  • Knowing and experience in the system level i.e. Electronics is very welcome for the position
  • Security of AI software, including secure architectures, trusted computing, isolation mechanisms, and protection against attacks.
  • Experience in the industry particularly in the transport
  • Research experience in the defence domain
  • Research and industrial experience working with standards is very important

Highly technology-oriented profiles are particularly welcome.

Principales activités

Some of the more specific objectives of this position include:

  • Collaborating with researchers and managing research groups;
  • Writing scientific papers and participating in the organization of the workshops;
  • Conducting experiments to evaluate and measure the efficiency and precision of the analyzer;
  • Evaluation and review of scientific documents and production of working documents;
  • Working with sensitive data

Compétences

 

  • Holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, or is expected to defend their dissertation soon.
  • Previous experience in leading research or innovation projects in Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience in team management, scientific supervision, or coordination of multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of deep learning, as well as other machine learning methods and symbolic AI.
  • Strong programming skills, with the ability to rapidly design and implement experimental prototypes.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive and efficient literature reviews across a wide range of topics.
  • Willingness to broaden expertise by exploring multiple areas of Artificial Intelligence.
  • Proficiency in both French and English.
