Post-Doctoral Research Visit F/M Campaign "Hybrid high-order methods for linear and nonlinear parabolic problems"
Contract type : Fixed-term contract
Renewable contract : Yes
Level of qualifications required : PhD or equivalent
Fonction : Post-Doctoral Research Visit
Assignment
Objective of the project:
The main objective of this project is to develop hybrid high-order methods for linear and nonlinear parabolic problems. In the past decade, HHO methods have developed vigorously for a large class of linear and nonlinear problems. However, several outstanding topics remain, in particular for time-dependent problems and for a posteriori error analysis. For a better knowledge of the proposed research subject, the state of the art and scientific references, please use the following link: https://team.inria.fr/serena/files/2024/04/Post_doc_HHO. pdf
Responsibilities:
The person recruited is responsible for working full-time on the proposed research project.
Steering/Management:
The person recruited will work under the supervision of Dr Zhaonan Dong and Prof Alexandre Ern at the Serena Team in Inria, Paris.
Main activities
The main topics covered in the project:
-
Inf-sup stability for the heat equation with HHO space semi-discretization
