Context
iDiscover is a startup incubated by INRIA offering a SaaS service based on an innovative framework, designed to enhance human-machine communication for any application that integrates it. By integrating this framework, applications can move into the other dimension, that of applications that communicate naturally with human.
Assignment
We're looking for talented people with a passion for using recent advancements in image processing for NLP and prompt engineering to develop a plateform that help non technical user interacting with software/application using natural langage.
Collaboration :
The recruited person will be in connection with the future CEO/CTO of the startup for defining the action plan.
Main activities
Main activities:
- Assist in the collection, preprocessing, and analysis of large datasets related to GUI interactions and visual-linguistic pairs.
- Develop and implement machine learning models for GUI element recognition and language comprehension.
- Collaborate with the CEO/CTO to integrate visual and language models into a cohesive framework.
- Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance and optimize interaction strategies.
- Document methodologies and present findings to the team.
- Work with the project team to ensure seamless integration throughout solution development.
- Create and maintain documentation for developped tools.
Skills
Technical skills:
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with natural language processing and computer vision techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Relational skills:
- Self-sufficiency

Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Experience with reinforcement learning and pretrained models (e.g., GPT, Vision Transformers).
- Knowledge of GUI design and interaction principles.
- Previous experience with multimodal integration of visual and linguistic data.
