About the research centre or Inria department

The Inria Saclay-Île-de-France Research Centre was established in 2008. It has developed as part of the Saclay site in partnership with Paris-Saclay University and with the Institut Polytechnique de Paris .

The centre has 39 project teams , 27 of which operate jointly with Paris-Saclay University and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris; Its activities occupy over 600 people, scientists and research and innovation support staff, including 44 different nationalities.

Context

This work is part of the ERC MOMENTOUS project. The engineer will be able to work with PhD students who have already been hired for the project. 

 

Assignment

The goal of the work is to enable experiments on YouTube for the ERC MOMENTOUS project. 

Main activities

Task 1: Develop further a browser extension that can collect ads shown on sensitive YouTube videos.

 

Task 2: Develop crawling techniques to fetch sensitive YouTube videos. 

 

Task 3: Deploy the data collection and analyze the results. 

Skills

Technical skills and level required :

Strong programming skills. 

Expertise in data analysis.
