Context
Within the STaRS project SITAR at Inria Lille, we are looking for a 4 to 6 month Master 2 intern to work on AI approaches for Bayesian game solving.
Depending on the background of the candidate, the candidate will focus on one of the following three tracks :
- the modeling of uncertainty perception in a multi-agent setting, relying on information-theoretic measures;
- the development of scalable AI based algorithms for Bayesian game solving considering different metrics (efficiency loss minimization, accuracy maximization, privacy preservation, convergence time minimization, ...),
- the development of coordination approaches for equilibrium selection and tracking in a dynamic setting taking into account the structure of the underlying communication network, abstracted as a graph.
Assignment
The candidate will be integrated with the INOCS group at Inria Lille. S.he will be supervised by Hélène Le Cadre and Frédy Pokou.
Main activities
The candidate will propose mathematical game theoretic models that s.he will analyse.
S.he will develop code in python and test it on toy and large-scale problems.
S.he will contribute to the writting of scientific papers that will be submitted to leading conferences and journals.
Skills
The candidate should be fluent in English. Basic French is appreciated but not mandatory.
