Post-Doctorant F/H Postdoc in theoretical quantum control
Contract type : Fixed-term contract
Renewable contract : Yes
Level of qualifications required : PhD or equivalent
Fonction : Post-Doctoral Research Visit
Context
Dans le cadre du PEPR NISQ2LSQ, l’ objectif est d'etudier de nouveaux protocoles d'encodage d'information quantique dans des qubits dynamiques.
Assignment
The research project considered for this postdoc is the study and improvement of some recent proposals for dynamical Floquet qubits which present some protection against dominant sources of noise. Through a careful mathematical analysis, we intend to thoroughly understand the promises and the limitations of these encodings. We are also interested in designing new protected gate mechanisms for such dynamical qubits by inspiring from our experience with dynamical cat and GKP qubits.
The postdoctoral candidate will work within the Inria-ENS-Mines-CNRS Quantic team under the co-supervision of Rémi Robin and Mazyar Mirrahimi. He will also collaborate with other members of Quantic team and in particular with the experimentalists in the team. The position is open for a fixed-term contract of 2 years.
