Context
Within the framework of
- a BPI "Communs Numériques" funded project co-hosted at the Inria's Almanach team-project.
more specifically dedicated to the creation of specific LLMs benchmarks and datasets related to fact-checking and fake news.
Is regular travel foreseen for this post ?
Travels for the consortium meeting and for presenting results at conferences are planned and fully funded.
Computing resources
access to high level Inria clusters and to the Jean Zay HPC cluster are granted.
Assignment
Assignments :
With the help of Djamé Seddah, the recruited person will be taken to develop technics able to ease the creation of fact checking datasets in different languages (French, Turkish). One of the strong constraints of the project is the necessity to take into account social media language variability at all analysis levels (morphology, syntax, semantics).

Collaborations :
The person recruited will work in close liaison with other engineers hired for the project duration and with the other members of the team for all aspect tied to data management and the building of effective neural models.
Responsabilities :
The person recruited is responsible for developing algorithms and models and evaluating performance through large-scale experiments. They will take all the necessary scientific initiatives and will have to contribute to the publication of their results within the framework of the project.
Steering/Management :
The person recruited will be placed under the scientific responsibility of Djamé Seddah, PI of the Inria's part of the project.

- Establishing the state of the art of relevant techniques to the project
- Software development
- Conducts of experiments
- Preparation of reports and publications
- Release as open source the resulting software and ressources
Skills
Technical skills and level required :
Excellent level of python + all tools needed for data science, deep learning and natural language processing.
Experience with large scale experiments
Languages :
Fluent English, German and Turkish is mandatory. Knowlegdge of French would be a plus.
Relational skills :
Team worker, autonomous and eager to dissiminate results.
Other valued appreciated :
Enthusiasm, team spirit.
