Located at the heart of the main national research and higher education cluster, member of the Université Paris Saclay, a major actor in the French Investments for the Future Programme (Idex, LabEx, IRT, Equipex) and partner of the main establishments present on the plateau, the centre is particularly active in three major areas: data and knowledge; safety, security and reliability; modelling, simulation and optimisation (with priority given to energy).

Mission confiée

Assignments :
With the help of D. Wassermann and the Parietal team, the recruited person will be taken to the development of a software tool for the analysis of neuroimaging information bridging neuroanatomy, congitive sciences, machine learning, and computer science. The work will take place within the tool neurolang.github.io . The candidate will be allowed a weekly slot for personal projects whithin the scope of the team or Inria.

For a better knowledge of the proposed research subject :
Currently neuroimaging meta-analytic databases are restricted to keyword-based seach. We aim for the devlopment of a logic-programming enabled meta-analyitic system which can deal with heterogeneous data sources and perform probabilistic inferencing.

Responsibilities :
The person recruited is responsible for the development of a web-application which serves as interface for the analytic engine as well as the optimization of the codeand will take initiatives for machine learning-based analysis of neuroimaging data.

Steering/Management :
The person recruited will be in charge of helping PhD and master's students in the development within the analytici infrastructure.

Technical skills and level required : Machine Learning, discrete mathematics, programming language theory, data analytics, databases. Python programming and version control through Git/Github will be appreciated
